Piper Services

Piper Services was founded in 1983 as a father-and-son business focused on site repair and maintenance in Teesside’s Food and Oil & Gas sectors. In 2019, leadership transitioned to Scott Gregson, under whom the company was incorporated and expanded rapidly.

By 2021, it moved to a larger 12,000 sq. ft. facility with enhanced capabilities. In 2024, Piper Services joined the Ropsley Group, strengthening the Group’s manufacturing and fabrication offering.

The Group now includes PJD Mechanical Engineering, ACTTnow, Greens Power, HEGS PHE, and Hunt Thermal, forming a comprehensive, integrated engineering and manufacturing solution across the UK and beyond.

2019 - Incorporation as Piper Services Ltd
Became Ltd, opened first workshop for bespoke fabrication and site repairs.
2022 - Expanding Fabrication Capability
Opened another larger workshop with 5T crane for complex fabrication projects.
2024 - Joining The Ropsley Group
Joined Ropsley Group of specialist engineering companies.
1983 - The Beginning
Founded by Jeffrey Noble, offering on-site mechanical repairs and maintenance.
